Pottery: Garden Party

This is a hand building class for anyone looking to improve upon their slab building skills. Each week we will focus on a different garden themed project to build upon previously learned slab construction skills by learning how to appropriately join and reinforce seams, learning how to dry slabs for stiff slab construction, piecing together complex forms, as well as using patterns and textures found in nature to decorate our garden party pieces. Participants will construct planters, a frog or fairy house, a bird feeder, and fun garden critters.
