Drafting Foundation Patterns for Apparel

Location: Sycamore Building, 7306 Tuition: $298.25
This class will provide an opportunity for students to create foundation blocks/slopers for a front and back bodice with darts, a basic sleeve, and a skirt. The blocks will serve as a foundation for creating new garments. Students will also learn basic patternmaking techniques, such as dart manipulation, drafting princess lines and learn how to add markings and seam allowances necessary to complete the pattern. Please note that students will need to purchase additional supplies for this course.
