Beekeeping Workshop is four-hour course designed for those interested in becoming North Carolina beekeepers. Students do not need to have any prior knowledge about beekeeping. Discussions will cover apiculture, honey bees, and understanding their role in the environment. Students will also receive guidance about buying honey bees, tools, hive boxes, and safety equipment. No purchases are required for this workshop, as this is a lecture and discussion class about beekeeping.
