There are many ways to add interest to your work - Texture is a great way. In this intermediate class you learn about heating Reticulation Silver to create a unique texture. We will use this beautiful random texture as the focus of your piece, contrasting this with smooth silver or copper, adding a cabochon accent and you will design a stunning pendant. Students will use the jeweler’s torch to create the texture on reticulation, designing with multiple metals. Please wear closed toed shoes. If you have long hair, please have a way to tie it back. Note: Student will be responsible for their own silver metal. Communication will occur regarding metals and other necessary resources prior to class so providing a personal email and checking HCC email is important prior to class.
